## Start with the available space

Measure the usable storage area, including its opening. A large cupboard can have a narrow entrance, and a wide product may be awkward to rotate inside it. Include the support and padding recommended for the actual assembly.

Measure the cleaning area too. You need room to work without balancing the product on an edge. If the route between the two spaces is difficult, a different format may solve more than a slightly shorter version of the same design.

## Ask for both delivery and product measurements

The carton may be larger than the assembled object in an important direction. Confirm where the carrier leaves it and how you will unpack it. Do not assume a service includes stairs or movement to your preferred room.

## Limitations
